Retirement Sale Ends Soon!

October 31, 2012

Dear Friends and Customers,

After nearly 20 years of serving the Edmonton area, my father has made the decision to retire and pass the business onto me. As the next generation of McElheran’s Fine Furniture begins, we are holding a massive “Pass the Torch / Retirement Sale”

This is largest sale in McElheran’s history. We are excited to be offering amazing incentives throughout the store for a limited time on a variety of items including custom orders.

I would like to liquidate as much as possible to pay off my father as fast aspossible! This is one sale you do not want to miss, with huge savings on high quality home furniture including brand names such as Sherrill, Hancock & Moore, Bernhardt, Theodore Alexander, Precedent, Whittemore Sherrill, MargeCarson, Lee, Hooker Furniture, Sligh, Century, Hickory White, Durham and more!

Since opening in 1998, I have worked by my father’s side at McElheran’s and have watched as we continuously evolved and expanded, all in the name of providing customers with better quality, design focused solutions for all their home decor needs. As the next generation of McElheran’s, I look forward tocontinuing to serve the Edmonton area with the same standards for years to come.

We hope to see you soon to take advantage of these incredible savings before time runs out.

Sincerely,
Jeff McElheran

We’ve made it to the fourth and final post in our blog series on the differences between a $1000 sofa and a $4000 sofa. You’ve learned how features of the frame, suspension and seat and back cushions can make a huge difference in the quality and price of the sofa you are buying. Today we’ll finish our series with the finishing layer of a sofa; the fabric. You see, when a typical living room sofa is being upholstered, the manufacturer will use as little as 15 or as much as 30 yards of fabric depending on the overall size of the sofa. How much the fabric on a sofa costs comes down to the quantity required and the qualities of the fabric you choose.
